The Central Florida Breast Center has provided the state of the art breast care for both benign and malignant breast disease to the Central Florida Area for the last 13 years. Under the direction of its founder, Dr. Shenin Sachedina, the Central Florida Breast Center has been the leader in providing cutting edge technology and treatment in breast oncology to the growing needs of the Central Florida Area.

Our breast center provides a full spectrum of services, including surgical consultations, Mammography, Stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound guided needle biopsy, and mammosite placement for radiation treatments. This comprehensive approach allows continuity of care for patients, and their work up for any abnormalities that need to be addressed on their clinical examinations, and imaging.

Our breast center serves patients from a radius of 250 miles around the central Florida area. This is an example of how the Central Florida Breast Center continues to be a leading resource for the management of breast cancer, and benign breast disease in our community.

Statistically, one in eight women will get breast cancer at some point in her life. Now, more than ever before, the need for specialized centers for the management of breast disease is clearly evident.

With new innovative technology, like stereotactic biopsy machines and portable ultrasound units, sutureless methods of obtaining breast tissue for diagnosis has dramatically altered the management of some abnormalities previously destined for the operating room.

It is my hope that the Central Florida Breast Center can aid in meeting the needs of women with breast diseases in an expeditious and compassionate manner.
